Recruiting: Decision time for Creer?

Tatum, Texas running back Lennon Creer talks about his visit to Norman, his final four and when he might announce his decision.

Lennon Creer, RB, 6-1, 190, TATUM, TEXAS:

JH: How did your last game go?

LC: "We lost to Troup 41-32. I rushed for 213 and one touchdown. I have rushed for 1,200 yards and 14 TDs through seven games."

JH: How was your visit to OU?

LC: "It was pretty good."

JH: What did you like and dislike about the visit?

LC: "The only thing that I disliked was the weather, because it was cold and windy. I loved the game atmosphere and the atmosphere of the whole town."

JH: Who was your host? And I guess you got out and saw the town a little bit?

LC: "We drove around everywhere all around town. My host was Malcolm Kelly and we spent a lot of time with the other players."

JH: What did you think about the facilities?

LC: "They have a real nice stadium, and all their facilities are real nice too."

JH: What did you think of the offense, especially the Sooner running attack? LC: "I kind of figured they might struggle a little bit after Adrian Peterson got hurt, but overall it was pretty good."

JH: How do you feel your talents can fit into the Sooner offense?

LC: "I like it a lot and feel OU's offense would suit me very well."

JH: I know that you and Coach Stoops talked before you left, so can you share a little about what you talked about?

LC: "He just talked to me about Oklahoma itself and the opportunities that I would have there. I told him that OU is very high on my list and that I am taking a very serious look at them."

JH: So what are your latest thoughts in recruiting?

LC: "I am trying to figure it out now between Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Florida, but I am trying to wait and see if I am going to be invited to play in the Army All-American game. If I am, then I am going to announce it there. I am getting closer to knowing what I want to do, but I want to wait and see if I am in that game or not."

JH: Did your visit enhance the Sooners chances to sign you?

LC: "It is about the same because OU had a real good chance anyway. It is close to home and they have a lot of guys from my area already playing for them."

JH: Does the fact that OU has also offered Darnius Moore, who is a good friend of yours?

LC: "That is a plus. There is no question about that."

JH: Are you taking any other visits? LC: "I don't have anything planned."
