Memphis lost three starters (Rodney Carney, Darius Washington and Shawne Williams) to the NBA from last season's 33-4 team that lost in the Sweet 16 to UCLA.
Yet despite the loss of their three top scorers, the Tigers will begin the season ranked 13th in both the Coaches and Associated Press Top 25 Polls.
They enter Monday's matchup 1-0 after beating Jackson State 111-69 in their season opener, and went unbeaten in exhibition play with a 113-64 win over Lemoyne-Owen and a 78-47 win over Christian Brothers.
Memphis leads the all-time series against the Sooners 4-0.

The EA Sports Maui Invitational is a three-day tournament consisting of eight teams. It takes place at the Lahaina Civic Center (2,400) on the island of Maui.

The Memphis-Oklahoma winner and loser will play the winner and loser of the Georgia Tech-Purdue first round matchup on Tuesday. DePaul, Kentucky, UCLA and Tournament host Chaminade, Division II school, are on the other side of the bracket. OU will play one of those four teams on Wednesday.
