RECRUITING: Millington didn't make trip

Illinois OL didn't make his scheduled trip to Norman, but says OU is among his top five

JH: Were you able to make your scheduled unofficial visit to Norman last weekend?

AM: "No, I wasn't able to. I had practice and found out I couldn't make it. I made the plans to come to Oklahoma a couple of weeks ago and when I officially got my schedule I found out that we were going to have double-sessions going on at the time I thought I was going to travel to Norman. We still thought about coming up on Saturday, but it is about a 12 hour trip to Norman and we just decided to try to make it on another day. We are still going to visit Norman, so it isn't really that big of a deal."

JH: How is recruiting going for you?

AM: "Everything is fine. I still have my same schools that I have talked about. Nothing has changed, but I understand recruiting a lot more right now. Early, I was just amazed to get a phone call or a letter, but now I understand how it works. I am still looking at Iowa, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Miami and Illinois. Those are my top five schools."

JH: What are your current thoughts on Oklahoma?

AM: "It is still a very good school. I like the football program and what they have to offer academically as well. Oklahoma would be a well-rounded choice for me and I am seriously considering them."

JH: Does anyone lead for your services at this point?

AM: "I don't. I just have a top five."
