Donald Stephenson, OL, 6-6, 275, KANSAS CITY (CENTRAL HS), MISSOURI:
JH: How did your season go this year?
DS: "We lost in the first round of the playoffs, but we had an outstanding season. We finished with a game of 9-2 and lost to Blue Springs South in the playoffs."
JH: Have you started taking your visits?
DS: "The first visit I took was to Kansas this past weekend, and I go to Missouri this weekend. I am visiting Nebraska on December 15th and then Oklahoma and Michigan in January. I had Oklahoma last weekend, but I had to move it because they were winning the Big 12 Championship. I am going to take all five of my visits."
JH: What did you think of your visit to KU?
DS: "I had a real good time. I really like the coaching staff and I think they do a good job. They don't always get the top recruits, but they do a great job of developing players. I really like the players and coaches at Kansas."
JH: Coach Mangino is a great guy, so what was your take the head coach of the Jayhawks?
DS: "I just talked to him tonight. He is coming by my house later this week and he is a real good guy."
JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?
DS: "I really like them a lot. They are one of my top teams right now."
JH: Do you have a favorite or a top two right?
DS: "I had a top two about a month ago, but I don't any more. I have several good schools who have offered me, but I want to take my visits and see how it goes. I also have some new schools that are now talking to me. Michigan just started to talk to me recently and they are going to come out and see me tomorrow and meet my parents. They haven't offered me a scholarship yet, but they are talking about it. Right now my main focus is on schools who have offered me. Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri and Oklahoma have all offered."
Stephenson is a full qualifier.
