The Matchup
Coppin State, coached by Ron 'Fang' Mitchell, are no strangers to the Lloyd Noble Center but not so much in a good way. OU leads the series 11-0 with 10 of the wins coming at the Lloyd Noble Center with Mitchell as their coach. The Sooners beat the Eagles, 57-47, last year in Norman.

The Eagles come into Saturday's matchup at 2-7, but they will come in battle-tested having faced some pretty decent competition. Their two lone wins came against Winston-Salem State and LaSalle, while their losses (all on the road) are against Virginia Tech (94-43), Hawaii ( 79-67), Tennessee (99-65), Kansas State (68-57), Missouri (98-77), Iowa (83-67) and Morgan State (86-82). CSU has only played one home game this season.

Coppin State, a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, is located in Baltimore, Md. and has an enrollment of 4,306. They were picked to finish fourth in the MEAC preseason poll.
