Recruiting: A&M commit visiting Oklahoma?

DeSoto, Texas defensive end Von Miller talks about his in-home visit with OU and future visit plans.

Von Miller, DE, 6-2, 211, DESOTO, TEXAS:

JH: Have you been on any visits the last couple of weeks?

VM: "No sir. I have just been seeing coaches in my home."

JH: Have you talked to Oklahoma recently?

VM: "I saw Coach (Bob) Stoops, coach (Chris) Wilson and coach (Brent) Venables from Oklahoma last week. I also saw coaches from Texas A&M."

JH: How did your visit with coach Stoops and the Oklahoma coaches go?

VM: "It went real well. They gave me some information that I really haven"t thought about. I knew Oklahoma was losing a lot of defensive ends, but I didn"t realize it was going to be six over the next two years."

JH: Is playing early important to you in making a decision?

VM: "Yes sir."

JH: Are you going to visit OU this weekend?

VM: "I hope to get up to Oklahoma tomorrow. We have our Christmas dance and dinner this weekend, so I am not sure what I am going to do. My parents would like for me to go to the dance and dinner ,so I am not sure."

JH: If you can't make it, would you re-schedule your Oklahoma visit?

VM: "I have thought about going to the Christmas festivities this weekend and visit OU in January. But I really don"t know right now."

JH: Are you still committed to the Aggies at this time?

VM: "I am committed to Texas A&M, but I have a good interest in OU. OU is losing six defensive ends, so I want to go there and see the campus and see what they have to offer."

JH: Since you are still taking visits would you say that your commitment to Texas A&M is a soft commitment?

VM: "It is solid, but I want to go to OU and see what they have."
