Recruiting: Receiver reschedules visit

The latest on Garland, Texas wide receiver Hubert Anyiam.

Hubert Anyiam, WR, 6-0, 175, NORTH GARLAND, TEXAS:

JH: You didn't make it in for your visit this weekend. What happened?

HA: "My flight plans got screwed up somewhere. I thought I was leaving at 5:30 p.m. and instead my flight was scheduled at 3:00. I don't get out of school until 2:20 so there was no way that I could make my flight at 3:00 p.m.

"It was my coaches that told me about the flight plans, but as it turned out I could not have made it anyway. I had a funeral to go to this weekend, so I called Coach (Brent) Venables and told him that I needed to reschedule the visit."

JH: When have you reset your visit to OU?

HA: "We haven't rescheduled it yet, but it is most likely going to be on January 12th."

JH: Are you disappointed that you didn't get a chance to go to OU this weekend?

HA: "I am kind of disappointed because they may fill up on scholarship offers, and I realize that. I hope they don't, but if they do I have other options. I just felt it was more important for me to go the funeral of my friend."

JH: Considering what happened with your visit to OU this weekend where do things stand with your recruiting at this point?

HA: "They are still in my top three. Nothing has really changed. I like OU, Nebraska and Arizona. OU is the only school that I haven't visited yet. I hope to do that soon so that I can make a good decision."
