DARIEN WILLIAMS, FS, 5-10, 180, 4.6, Mesquite (North HS), TEXAS:
JH: You won your scrimmage on Saturday, how did you play?
DW: It went pretty good and I think our defense played well. I felt we really came together as a team.
JH: Are you optimistic about your season?
DW: I know that our season can be something big if all of our players live up to their potential. I know if the leaders on our team play well, and that includes me, then we can go very far.
JH: What is up in recruiting?
DW: My recruiting is wide open right now and I am just trying to concentrate on my season. I like Texas A&M, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Baylor, Boston College, Kansas, Kansas State, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and Iowa. I know so little about the schools that I can't say that I am leaning one way or another.
JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma?
DW: I like them a lot and really like their program. I like the way their safety's are used in their defensive system and feel I could fit right in.
