Sooner women take care of business in Boulder

Paris twins combine for 38 points, 25 rebounds and seven blocks in OU's 82-67 win over Colorado.

Road tests seem to be turning into quizzes nowadays for Courtney Paris and the 7th-ranked Sooners.

Paris recorded her 44th-straight double-double as Oklahoma fought off Colorado's second half rally and pulled away with an 82-67 win Saturday night in Boulder.

The win capped a perfect four-game road trip and pushed OU's win streak against Big 12 competition to 24 straight. Oklahoma is also now an impressive 11-0 in games played away from Norman this season.

The Sooners used a 16-0 run midway through the first half to take a 24-8 lead, but the Buffaloes cut the lead to 36-28 at halftime.

Colorado kept fighting and even held a 48-44 lead with 13:11 to go, but Courtney and Ashley Paris combined to score OU's next 15 points in a 15-3 run that helped the Sooners regain the lead for good at 59-51 with 8:13 remaining.

The Buffaloes would cut the lead to 59-54 with 7:44 left, but that would be as close as they would get as Leah Rush scored seven points in a 10-3 run that saw the lead pushed back to double-digits.

Courtney Paris finished with 26 points, 17 rebounds and five blocks, while Asheley Paris added 12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.

With the win the Sooners improved to 15-1 overall and 5-0 in Big 12 play, while Colorado fell to 8-9 and 2-3.

Oklahoma will return to the Lloyd Noble Center this Monday for a 6 p.m. matchup against Texas Tech.
