Recruiting: More visits for Louisiana DE?

The latest Baton Rouge, La. defensive end Frank Alexander's interest in Oklahoma.

Frank Alexander, DE, 6-3, 241, BATON ROUGE (SOUTHERN LAB HS), LOUISIANA:

JH: You have a week and a half to go in recruiting before national signing day, so what is everything coming down to at this point?

FA: "Right now I am very undecided. I am still trying to decide what is going to be best for me. I hope to make up my mind by the end of this week, because right now I really don't know what I am doing to do."

JH: Who are still the main contenders at this point?

FS: "Everybody is the same, I don't have a favorite at this time. I am still considering Oklahoma, Auburn, Tulane, Miami and LSU. I am still considering LSU."

JH: Do you still have one visit to take?

FS: "Yeah, I have one set up for next week. I am supposed to be going down to Miami."

JH: So are you definitely going to Miami this weekend?

FS: "I am trying to make it, but I haven't talked to any of the coaches at Miami yet about that."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma at this point?

FS: "I like Oklahoma, but like I said everybody is the same. They are all telling me the same thing — that I can come in and play early. They are still very high with me, but right now I just have to make a decision that is going to be the best for me."

JH: How did your last visit with OU go?

FS: "It went well. Coach (Chris) Wilson and Coach (Jackie) Shipp came by and I get along with those guys very well. I got to know them on my visit and I have a good relationship with them. They were talking to my parents most of the time."

JH: Will you see OU again this week?

FS: "Yes, they are supposed to come by on Tuesday."
