New Orleans, La. offensive tackle Alex Williams told OUInsider.com late Thursday night that he was not going to announce his decision as planned and hoped to decide on Friday.

"I just don't have everything totally settled in my mind that I need to announce my decision," said Williams. "I am still trying to decide between Oklahoma and Michigan State. I am still trying to decide which school can give me the best education, best football situation and where I can fit in the best."

Williams says he will try to make up his mind Friday night.

OU is not going to get a shot at Cedar Hill, Texas wide receiver William Cole.

Cole's head coach Jerry McGuire confirmed what he thought yesterday that Cole is not going to take a visit this weekend. If he had he probably would have visited OU, but the family is already whipped from recruiting and they want to take the weekend off.

His choices are down to Arkansas, Kansas and OSU, and Cowboy Head Coach Mike Gundy took his last shot at him last night.

One of Oklahoma's top junior offensive line prospects is already off the recruiting board Gilmer, Texas prospect David Snow has committed to the Texas Longhorns. Snow said he grew up a lifelong Longhorn fan and it has always been his dream to play for the Longhorns.

"The education that I will get a Texas is second to none," said Snow. "Plus, they have some great down linemen at Texas and I will get some serious competition from them every week."

Snow says he picked the Longhorns over OU and Nebraska.

On the current team front, sophomore wide receiver Eric Huggins will transfer from OU at the end of the second semsester. If he completes his academic requirement, then OU will release him. He will not go through spring practice.

Huggins, who is looking for more playing time or an opportunity for playing time, more than likely is headed to East Carolina. He finished his Sooner career without a catch.
