RECRUITING: Edmond LB discusses visit

Coveted middle linebacker Dane Zaslaw talks about the first of his only three scheduled visits

DANE ZASLAW, LB, EDMOND, OKLAHOMA:

JH: How was your visit to OU?

DZ: I didn't really know what to expect. The game was excellent. I had a lot of fun hanging out with Teddy Lehman, who was my host. I really wasn't shown anything new, because I was real familiar with the place. However, what I did was great and I had a great time."

JH: You didn't experience anything new at all on your visit?

DZ: I did experience some new experiences because I had a chance to hang out with the players and go out with them. They are a great bunch of guys to hang out with and I really enjoyed myself.

JH: What linebacker position do you feel you will play at OU and did you watch that position quite a bit?

DZ: I think I am going to be the middle really, but it doesn't matter. The defense is set up for the linebackers to make plays and tackles. The middle linebacker is there to make plays and he does make big plays.

JH: Where does OU stand after the visit?

DZ: I only have three official visits, and OU is still in those three. LSU and Texas A&M are still the other two. I go to Texas A&M this weekend and then LSU the following weekend. I really want to keep things open until I take those other visits. I do have some different impressions, but I want to experience those other visits before I start talking about leans or that I have committed to one school over another.
