RECRUITING: Former OU commit names his top three

Shreveport, La. WR Tristen Ross talks about his first game and recruiting

JH: I understand you were hurt in your last game?

TR: I sprained my MCL and I will probably miss two games at the most. I was making a catch and as soon as I was turning up field the defensive back hit my knee and it gave way. It was nothing really serious and it is just a sprain.

JH: How were you playing in the game?

TR: Up to that point I had three catches for 32 yards. It was only about eight minutes into the second quarter. It was our first game of the year and we lost to Longview, Texas 31-28.

JH: Have you set up any visits in recruiting?

TR: As of right now I have a visit set to OU the week of the Colorado game. I also had a visit set up to Texas on December 13th, but I had to reschedule that visit for September 20th.

JH: Who is really in the running for you right now?

TR: Right now OU, Texas and Tennessee are my top three schools. OU is still the leader, but I am just checking out all my options.

JH: Have you seen either of Oklahoma's first two games thus far?

TR: I was real impressed, but I was shocked that Jason White went down with the same injury he had last year. I thought Nate Hybl played real well and Mark Clayton had a great game.

JH: Would like to play in the kind of environment that OU and Alabama played in last Saturday?

TR: Without a doubt. I would like to come in and play in a game like that and help Oklahoma win games.
