Sooners in Arkansas WR's summer plans?

Little Rock, Ark. receiver Joe Adams talks about his summer visit plans, interest in Oklahoma and timetable for a decision.

JH: What is the latest with you? Are you going through off-season, running track or what?

JA: "We just started spring training for football. I am not running track this year. Spring practice is going well and we will have our Purple and Gold game this Thursday."

JH: How does your team look right now?

JA: "We are looking good. I am having a good camp so far. I am catching the ball well and our quarterback is throwing the ball pretty well."

JH: The last time we talked you said that you were working on your summer schedule on schools you may visit or camps you may attend. Have you figured out where you are going yet?

JA: "Yeah, I am going to try to make some unofficial visits. I am going to try to make it to Georgia and Clemson, I want to go there. Then I am going to try to go to USC and Texas A&M. I am also going to make it to Oklahoma."

JH: What is the latest in recruiting?

JA: "I received two more offers. They were from Texas A&M and USC."

JH: There were a lot of rumors that you had committed to USC. Is that true or even close to being true?

JA: "No, that isn't true at all. I am not sure where that came from. I guess it just got out there for some reason."

JH: How many total offers do you have right now?

JA: "I have 12 offers right now. I have offers from Oklahoma, USC, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, TCU, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Georgia, Tulsa, Minnesota, Kansas and Air Force."

JH: What do you think of your latest two offers from Texas A&M and USC?

JA: "Those are two big schools that are very good in football. I still have my list open though."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma at this time?

JA: "I really like Oklahoma. I talk to Coach (Kevin) Sumlin and Coach (Bob) Stoops a lot. Oklahoma is at the top of my list."

JH: You are getting more and more offers all the time, so do you still plan on committing before the start of your senior season?

JA: "I am still going to make my decision before my season starts. I want to make my decision in August. That is why I want to take some unofficial visits this summer."
