In addition to Kelvin Sampson's Sooners, the national runner-up OU Women's Basketball team is also having great success on the recruiting trail this offseason.
Already in the bag is two of the state of Oklahoma's top players G in Kendra Moore out of Ardmore, OK and Christi Sanchez, 6-1, of Springdale, Arkansas.
Both players are super talents and regarded among the nations' top 100 players.
The Sooners will know something this weekend from 6-1 wing Lea Rush of Amarillo, Texas. Rush is ranked as the 36th best player in the country and is trying to decide between OU and Texas Tech.
OU will also bring in two of the top players in the country from Ohio the weekend of the Oklahoma-Iowa State football game.
Five-foot-ten inch point guard Brandy Haskins of Dayton Julian, Ohio is the 20th best player in the country. She has her choices narrowed down to ISU, OU, Maryland and Ohio State.
She wants to play with 6-6 post Alica Bates of Beaver Creek, Ohio. Bates is huge and is regarded as the 9th best player in the country. The Sooners are battling Notre Dame, Duke, Ohio State and Maryland for her services.
