RECRUITING: Top Texas LB still favors four

Klein, Texas linebacker Robert Killebrew talks about his high school season and recruiting

ROBERT KILLEBREW, LB, 6-1, 203, 4.45, KLEIN, TEXAS:

JH: How is your season going?

RK: "It is going pretty good. We are 5-0 so far. In some polls we are ranked fifth and in some polls we are not ranked. I think the polls don't really matter. We need to just come out and play."

JH: Are you playing well?

RK: "I am doing pretty good. I have been bothered by some minor injuries. I have been bothered by an ankle injury early and then I sliced my hand open in game three. I am not even sure how that happened, and then when I got back on the field I sliced my hand between my forefinger and my thumb as I got stepped on at the bottom of a pile. I have been trying to battle through some things, but it hasn't been easy."

JH: Have you set any visits at this time?

RK: "No, I haven't. I am still taking it one day at a time. I am actually not thinking about it much as I am trying to get my senior season over with. I am trying to focus on my senior season and then I will worry about recruiting."

JH: Do you have a top five?

RK: "Oklahoma, UCLA, Texas and Florida are the four schools I think about the most."

JH: What are you thoughts on Oklahoma?

RK: "I like Oklahoma just like I like the other four schools. All of them have great football programs and it is going to come down to which school can benefit me the most education-wise and how I can fit in with the best."
