JARVIS MOSS, DE, 6'7, 220, 4.48, DENTON RYAN, TEXAS:
JH: How has your season gone thus far?
JM: "It is pretty good thus far. As a defensive unit we have played about as well as we have at any time. The offense is still peaking, but they are getting better in every game. Our only loss was in Ennis, and we lost that game 21-14. We played terrible in that game and hopefully we will get another chance to play them in the playoffs.
JH: How are you playing this season?
JM: Right now I have over 50 tackles and nine sacks. Plus, I have a couple of caused fumbles and a couple of fumble recoveries. I am just doing my best and doing what I need to do. I am having a lot of fun this season."
JH: Talk about your defense and your individual style of play?
JM: "We are an aggressive defense and all of our defensive line get to attack up field. Derrick Wilkie is a junior who is a strong player next to me. Wayman Roberts is a senior who is playing well for us. I like to pass rush and coming off the edge.I am fast off the ball and I try to put myself into a position to at least disrupt the rhythm of the quarterback."
JH: Have you set any visits at this point?
JM: "I will visit Florida (1-10), Miami (1-17) and Florida State (1-24). I am not for sure on the other schools. I am looking at Texas and Oklahoma for the final two visits."
JH: It sounds like you are trying to get away to Florida?
JM: "They are just good schools, but I wouldn't say that I am looking to go there."
JH: What is your thoughts on Oklahoma?
JM: "I went to the OU-Texas game and I was impressed with Oklahoma. OU is a good school, but Texas is a good school as well. I really like the coaches at OU and I like how aggressive they are on defense. They allow their defensive ends to be aggressive and make plays."
JH: What are your main factors in recruiting?
JM: Distance is the most important, but the fact that I am going to be away from home will not really be a factor. I just want to go to the right place where I can be comfortable and where I can fit in with my teammates."
