RECRUITING: Los Angeles LB headed out of state?

Los Angeles linebacker Lance Broadus says he's thinking about being a Sooner

JH: How did your visit to OU go this weekend?

LB: "I loved it and it was awesome. The people and fans were great. I loved how they treated each other and how they treated me. I loved how they treated their football team and how much they cared for them."

JH: What did you think of the football program?

LB: "It was all cool for me. They made me feel like I belonged there. I fit right in there with them."

JH: How about the campus?

LB: "It was a huge campus and it was pretty nice. I liked it a lot and I could fit in there. I think their academic program is top notch as well."

JH: You told me that was going to be your first plane ride, so what did you think?

LB: "It was scary. It was a scary thing. I just went to sleep on the plane. It was kind of uncomfortable, but I was able to do it. Checking in was fine and the landing part of the trip was a bit rough as it woke me up out of my sleep. The trip was good enough for me. I am thinking about taking the rest of my visits and I just might sign out of state."

JH: Did your visit to OU change your opinion about the Sooners?

LB: "It was a positive experience for me and I have much better thoughts about Oklahoma then I had before I took my visit. I am now really thinking about going to Oklahoma. Without question, Oklahoma is now one of my top schools."

JH: What is up in regards to recruiting for you now?

LB: "I am taking an unofficial visit to Arizona the day after Thanksgiving. I don't know if we are flying there or driving. I am still setting up my next official visit. I hope to visit Oregon. I live right by USC, so I can take that visit any time. I may also visit Nebraska."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma's defense?

LB: "They play great and they make plays all over the field. I play middle linebacker and I love the way that Lance Mitchell is used."
