MEN'S BB: OU Plans Promotions for Saturday

In an attempt to fill Lloyd Noble Center on Saturday when Oklahoma hosts Arkansas, the University of Oklahoma has a handful of promotions planned. Among them is an hourlong autograph session by members of the Oklahoma foothball team prior to the game.

The University of Oklahoma is attempting to get butts in the seats Saturday at Lloyd Noble Center when Oklahoma plays host to Arkansas in men's non-conference basketball.

There's no better way to do that than to use the OU football team.

Select members of the Oklahoma football team will be on hand from 1 to 2 p.m. to sign autographs for fans in the upper concourse of the LNC. Autographs are limited to one item per person and fans are asked to refrain from taking pictures to keep the lines moving.

The autograph signing is just one of a handful of activities or promotions on the day. Others include:

• Rally towels – An Oklahoma Basketball Rally towel will be placed in every seat of the LNC.

• Military Appreciation Day – Members of the University of Oklahoma ROTC and troops from other bases in the area will be recognized. A service member currently stationed at Tinker Air Force Base will sing the national anthem and all military personnel will receive a special message from OU players and coaches.

• Hot dogs – The first 500 OU students to arrive will receive a coupon for $.50 hot dogs. Coupons will be available at the West Entrance of LNC.
