RECRUITING: Coveted guard will decide soon

Fayetteville, Ark. guard Ronnie Brewer talks recruiting and about his final visit to OSU

JH: How did your visit to OSU go?

RB: "It went pretty good. I enjoyed myself and I had an opportunity to enjoy the players and coaches. It went pretty well."

JH: Are you glad the visit portion of your recruiting process is over?

RB: "Yeah, I am glad they are over and I am ready for the opportunity to make a decision."

JH: Have you made a decision?

RB: "No, I want to talk it over with my parents and everything. Hopefully I will have the decision by the end of this week or early next week."

JH: Have you narrowed down your decision?

RB: "I am still considering the four schools. I haven't eliminated any of the schools; Arkansas, OU, Oklahoma State and UConn."

JH: Do you have a leader?

RB: "Not really. I am still looking at everybody on an equal basis. I am going to break it down between these four schools. And by the end of the week I will have it down to one school."

JH: What do you think about OU?

RB: "I like OU a lot. I like Coach Sampson and their coaching staff. OU has a lot to offer, due to their exposure, their ranking, their consistency as a good program. They always put together a great recruiting class and I would be joining an outstanding recruiting class. They are also graduating the three members of their guard corp, so I would have a shot at playing my first year."

JH: And what about Arkansas?

RB: "I like them a lot. I like Coach Heath and his staff. Of course it is right in town and that adds something for them. It is a great opportunity for me as well."
