RECRUITING: Georgia RB talks about trip to Norman

Kennesaw, Georgia running back and Penn State commit Jason Evans talks about his interest in OU

JH: What did you think of your visit to Oklahoma?

JE: "The people are great in Oklahoma and they love their football. I guess that would be something to look forward to if I went to Oklahoma."

JH: What were your thoughts on OU?

JE: "I thought the whole thing, as a whole, was great. They treated me great and I loved the academic center and the training facility. It is a great school and the football team is the number one team in the nation. They are rated number one and they are one of the top programs in the country."

JH: I know you have lived up North and down South, could you get adjusted to Oklahoma?

JE: "I have been around everywhere so I have learned how to adjust to different kinds of environments and Oklahoma would be an easy place to adjust to."

JH: What did the visit do for OU's chances to get you to sign with them?

JE: "It flipped me around a whole lot. I didn't expect to see anything that I would like, but it turned out that I liked everything about it. It is going to narrow things down a whole lot more."

JH: What is your recruiting status at the moment?

JE: "I am still committed to Penn State, but Oklahoma is right there with Penn State. There still might be a chance that I would change my commitment."

JH: Is it politically correct to say Penn State is the school for you or do you really like Penn State the best right now?

JE: "I still really like Penn State the best right now."

JH: Are you going to take any more visits?

JE: "I am going to Stanford this week."
