has added an offer to his arsenal and is nearing a decision.
The Owasso (Okla.) offensive lineman was offered by Oklahoma late last month, pushing his total to six. Others who had stepped up were Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Arkansas and Missouri.
"Kansas has offered me since then," Webb said on Thursday night.
Webb, whose father Terry played offensive line for the Sooners in the 1970s, said Oklahoma's offer was "the one I've been waiting on."
Still, Webb wasn't quick to pull the trigger on a commitment and has yet to do so.
But he's getting close.
"I'm going to commit after spring ball," he said. Owasso's spring practices are scheduled for next month.
Webb said Oklahoma is still at or near the top of his list.
"They're at the top," he said. "They're definitely one of the top schools I have in mind."
He said he's also considering Arkansas, OSU, Kansas and Tech.
