Sooners run out of Magic

Oklahoma's Quentin Griffin rushed for over 100 yards for the fourth straight game, but it was the defenese let the No. 1 ranked Sooners down in a 30-26 loss to Texas A&M Saturday in College Station

Oklahoma's road to the Fiesta Bowl took a major detour Saturday in College Station.

The top-ranked Sooners escaped Kyle Field two years ago on the road to the national title, but on Saturday it was the Aggies who escaped with a 30-26 win over Oklahoma, their first-ever victory over a top-ranked opponent.

Quentin Griffin rushed for over 100 yards for the fourth straight game, but true freshmen Texas A&M quarterback Reggie McNeal came off the bench to spark the Aggies from a 10-0 deficit throwing for four touchdown passes and 191 yards through the air.
