2010 First Look: Beau Marsaln

Jenks got a nice surprise when they found out that they were getting a transfer in from Beau Marsaln, a talented quarterback who put up huge numbers for Blackwell a year ago. In this feature we take a look at what Marsaln will be bringing to the table.

It will be a tough task for anyone to fill the shoes of Jenks quarterback Mark Ginther, who led the team on back-to-back State Championship runs, but someone will have to do it.

The front-runner for that job may now be Beau Marsaln, a 6-foot-3, 210-pounder, who has transferred in to the school district from Blackwell.

Marsaln has proved that he has developed in to one of the most feared offensive weapons in the state after putting up astonishing numbers as a sophomore last season.

He passed for around 4,000 yards and 45 touchdowns and added an additional 685 yards and 11 scores on the ground.
