Friday's win over UC-Irvine sets up what should be a classic non-conference matchup Saturday between Oklahoma perennial giant-killer Princeton.
The Sooners will face Princeton Saturday afternoon at 2 pm inside the Lloyd Noble Center.
"It will be an interesting game. It's going to be who can dictate the tempo of the game," said Oklahoma Head Coach Kelvin Sampson.
"Princeton is going to win the game playing half-court and a slower tempo, and we're going to win the game going up and down. That's the difference. You play against a system, rather than individual players. Their system is so good. It's tough to come back and play them 15 hours later."
The Tigers advanced to Saturday's final with a 62-59 win over Western Michigan.
