ANTONIO CROMARTIE, WR/CB, 6-3, 195, 4.4, TALLAHASSEE LINCOLN, FLORIDA:
JH: Do you now want to be a cornerback instead of a wide receiver?
AC: "This year I started liking defense more and I started to like to hit more than be hit. On defense you don't know what is going to happen and that is exciting to me. The reason I feel that I can play corner is because I have played it since I was in ninth grade. Plus you don't find may corners my size at 6-4, 195, and yet I can play corner, which gives me a great advantage."
JH: Where are you going to visit at this point?
AC: "I have set up four visits. I go to Oklahoma (12-20), Michigan (1-10), Florida (1-17) and Alabama (1-24). I am considering Florida State, Miami or LSU for the fifth visit."
JH: You have always been a Florida State fan, so where do the Seminoles fit in?
AC: "I have been to Florida State since I was a sophomore and I already know all about Florida State since I live in Tallahassee. So, the Seminoles are still a team that I really like and that I will consider strongly."
JH: You have always stated that you love Florida State and the state of Florida, so can you really sign with a team out of state?
AC: "I think I could really leave the state. Basically for me to leave I will have to be real happy at that college. I will have to get along with the coaches and players and feel that I can make a home there for me to leave Florida."
JH: Oklahoma is a long way from Florida, do the Sooners really have a chance?
AC: "Oklahoma is a great program and Coach Stoops has done a great job thus far. They have great coaches and they have a legitimate chance to sign me at Oklahoma. They are recruiting me as a receiver, but they have told me that if I am a better cornerback prospect that they will put me over there."
JH: Do the off the field problems at Florida State bother you at all?
AC: "It doesn't really bother me. They have to do what they have to do with Adrian and that won't have any problem with me."
JH: How is your season going?
AC: "We are in the fourth round of the playoffs and we have two more rounds to go before our state championship game. This year I have 30 catches for 562 yards and four touchdowns. I also have 12 carries for 162 yards and two touchdowns. I have two kickoff returns for a touchdowns, with one 94 yards and one 75. On defense I have 68 tackles, six interceptions, seven pass break ups, three fumble recoveries and three caused fumbles."
