LYNELL HAMILTON, RB, 6-1, 193, 4.4, STOCKTON EDISON, CALIFORNIA:
JH: Are you still playing?
LH: "We were on probation and we finished 9-1 on the year."
JH: How did your season go?
LH: "I finished with 1,048 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns. Receiving, I had 150 yards on 20 catches and two touchdowns. I felt my year didn't go like I wanted it to go. I felt I was average at times, but we were winning games and I was moving the chains."
JH: How is recruiting going?
LH: "I have had a lot of trips and a lot of in-home visits right now. I am still trying to work through my five schools which are Oregon, Colorado, Michigan, Oklahoma and Arizona."
JH: You are already taking visits right?
LH: "I have visited Oregon and Colorado and this Friday I go to Michigan. My coach and my dad are working to set up visits to Oklahoma and Arizona."
JH: Do you have a favorite right now?
LH: "Oregon would be my favorite school right now. I had a real good trip to Oregon. I liked the facilities and the academic part of the school. I liked the location, but more important I liked the program and the academics. My visit was good, but they are recruiting me hard. Yesterday their Head Coach Mike Belllotti and the running back coach Campbell visited me. It is not often that a head coach will come and visit a prospect so I know they have a great interest in me."
JH: What about Colorado?
LH: "The thing that I liked best about Colorado was their running back coach Eric Bieniemy. I really like him and would love to play for him. I love their offense and how they run the tailback."
JH: What are your thoughts on OU?
LH: "I really don't know at the moment, because they haven't called in a while and I haven't visited yet. I just haven't heard from them in a while and I don't know how much longer I am going to keep them on my list. I am trying to keep them on my list, but it is getting harder because I don't know how interested they are in me at this point."
