Live! 4-Star Boyd Set to Announce four-star prospect Jheranie Boyd is set to announce his college intentions at 11:30 a.m. (Eastern) during a press conference at his high school in Ashbrook, N.C.

Jheranie Boyd, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound wide receiver from Ashbrook High in Gastonia, N.C., has played the recruiting process pretty close to the vest.

Early in the process it seemed like he a was a lock to stay down south leaning to schools like North Carolina, North Carolina State, Clemson, Auburn, and Florida.

When it was all said and done he would eliminate most of the southern schools in favor of schools in the heartland.

Boyd, who has family in the St. Louis area, took official trips to Oklahoma, Illinois, and Missouri.

Now that his announcement is only hours away it looks like his decision could be coming down to three schools: UNC, OU, and Mizzou. is LIVE! on location at Boyd's school. Click THIS link to get the latest!

North Carolina has been right there with Boyd since the beginning and they definitely provide a chance for some early playing time. Butch Davis has been consistently landing major recruits. If you consider the fact he did not even officially visit the Heels it only makes sense he will verbal there.

UNC's Chances: 40%

The Sooners were a surprise contender in the race to land Boyd's services and he basically took a spur of the moment official visit to Soonerland on 9-26. He was blown away by what he saw and feels like he could fit perfectly in Kevin Wright's high-powered and high scoring OU offense. OU will graduate three receivers.

OU's Chances: 35%

The Tigers are definitely the dark horse candidate, but they should not be ruled out just yet. He has family in the area and he could probably envision himself being Jeremy Maclin in their offense. If he commits he would be the most highly rated out of state target ever for Gary Pinkel at Mizzou.

Mizzou's Chances: 25%
