McFarland Down to Two

Five-star defensive tackle Jmarkus McFarland narrowed his list to two schools this afternoon during an All-American Bowl selection ceremony that was held at his high school.

Jamarkus McFarland, a 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive tackle from Lufkin High in Texas has been one of the most sought after players in the country.

After racking up a plethora of scholarship offers he narrowed hs list to three schools: Oklahoma, Texas, and LSU.

He took official visits to all three schools and after some further deliberation he announced that he has cut it down to two schools during the Army Bowl selection ceremony that was held this afternoon at his high school.

"Jamarkus just said that he is down to Texas and OU and no other schools are under consideration," Scout.com Regional Manager Alan Zepeda informed.

No timetable has yet been given on when McFarland could announce his final intentions, but it has been believed by some that a decision could come at any time.
