"It went well, real well," Bronson beamed.
"We went to all of the facilities and I loved the weight room. They have squat racks that you can use that have air pressure. It counts your reps and how much force that you put out and stuff. That was pretty cool. They said that Roy Williams bought it for them."
The hits kept coming when he found out that he was getting an offer to play at OU.
"They offered me today. It was real cool," Irwin informed. "I think it is a great opportunity, but like I said I want to see what my options are. I don't want to close the door on anybody yet. I know that I have always been an OU fan all of my life and you can't beat it, basically."
"The program tradition, the heritage, and the program level can not be beaten by anyone really."
"I have sent my film off to a bunch of schools and I am just going to see what happens."
Bronson got to spend one on one time with offensive line coach James Patton and head coach Bob Stoops.
"I got to talk to coach Patton a few times actually," Irwin began. "I think he was trying to play it cool about the offer and not give it away until the end. At the end he told me I have really quick feet and use my hands well."
Irwin recanted how he actually received his offer.
"He (Patton) told me that coach Stoops wanted to talk to me, so we went up to Coach Stoops' office. Coach Stoops has this box that he has all of his bowl game watches, bowl rings, and conference championship rings.
"He said ‘I have a real nice collection and hopefully we can start building you a collection here. I just wanted to let you know that you have a scholarship here waiting for you.' It was pretty cool."
"My mom almost passed out!"
