Always known for producing big time talent and big time teams the Dallas Carter Cowboys feature one of the state's top Offensive Lineman in the Class of 2010 in Dalvin Glass. Glass a 6'3 305 pound tackle who plays with a nasty streak will be a three year starter for Coach Allen Wilson's squad who finished 12-1 in 2008.

As a sophomore in 2007 Glass earned first team all 11-5A honors, but 2008 was even better as he earned first team all 11-4A honors in addition to earning first team all area and all state honors by

Besides playing football at Carter, Glass also is a member of the Carter baseball team where he plays first base. "My main strength is my ability to run block and get to the second level and start knocking linebackers and defensive backs down," said Glass who plans on working on his footwork and pass blocking this off-season to improve his game.

As things stand Dalvin holds two offers from Texas A&M and Nebraska in addition to heavy interest from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Arkansas. Glass says he's very open to the process right now and has no favorites. As for this summer Dalvin plans on spending a lot of time in the weight room and he'll likely attend the 2009 Combine in Dallas.

The decision won't come until after the end of the 2009 season according to the future education major, "I'd like to wait until after the end of the season, I want my total focus to be on getting us to win a State Championship," and with the kind of talent Carter puts out each year a state title is within reach.
