RECRUITING: Florida DB wants to visit

Tallahassee, Fla. defensive back Antonio Cromartie talks about his interest in Oklahoma

ANTONIO CROMARTIE, CB, 6-3, 195, 4.4, TALLAHASSEE (LINCOLN HS), FLORIDA:

JH: How did you like playing in the California-Florida All-Star game?

AC: "I liked it and it was a bit like how college was going to be. I played cornerback the entire game, which is where I think I will play in college. I was disappointed we didn't win, but the game was fun and I guess that is the most important."

JH: Are you still considering the same schools at the moment?

AC: "I am still looking at Auburn, Michigan, Florida, Florida State and Miami."

JH: Do you not have an interest in Oklahoma?

AC: "I do have a great interest in Oklahoma. I wanted to reschedule my visit on December the 20th, but couldn't work that out and they haven't called back. If they do call I do want to visit them and I would work it out. I still have Michigan, Florida, Miami and Florida State in January and I would drop one of those schools to visit OU."

JH: Do you have a favorite at this time?

AC: "I still do not have a favorite."

JH: Can you really leave the state of Florida to go to college out of state?

AC: "Yes I can. If I like that other school enough I certainly could go to school out of state."
