Ndulue Stacking Offers

Spring Football allows college coaches the opportunity to uncover some hidden gems, and no player in the country has seen his offer list explode from that attention like Dallas Jesuit defensive end Chuka Ndulue.

The spring has been kind to Chuka Ndulue, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive end from Dallas Jesuit College Prep in Texas.

After a solid showing in the spring he now reports offers from schools like Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Baylor, Kansas, Utah, San Diego State, Colorado State, Nebraska, and Richmond.

And now even the Texas Longhorns are starting to put themselves in the game.

"I have 14-16 (offers)," Ndulue said. "I am not so sure what is going on with UT."

"They kind of want me to come down to Austin for a visit and tour their facilities. Right now I don't know if I will be able to make it. Right now I am just sad that spring ball is over and I want to sit down and talk with my position coach about that."

Last night Ndulue's busy spring came to an end of sorts as his team wrapped up their practices with their Spring Game.

As you can imagine it was a bittersweet moment for the talented defensive end, who has seen so many opportunities come his way.

"I am just sad that it is over," Ndulue explained. "I played pretty good. I played well. We had a lot of cut blockers going off, so I could not do much."

Ndulue has a host of offers, but he could be closing in on a decision at any moment.

"Probably," Ndulue alluded.

While the feeling is that Oklahoma is on the verge of nailing down a commitment from Ndulue he says that he will try to keep his leader quiet for the time being.

"Yeah," answered Ndulue when asked if a school was on top. "I think I am going to keep that a secret until that day comes."

Scout.com and Sooners Illustrated will be closely monitoring the situation with Ndulue as a decision could come at any time.
