Unofficial Visitor Nuggets...

A look at some notes that we posted on our message board for our Premium Access Members...

As seen yesterday on the Premium Message Board...

Tight end Brian Vogler made it in today on an unofficial visit and made the rounds and got the tour to see all of the academic side of things at the University.

After that he made it over to camp and got to watch Kevin Wilson work the tight ends at camp and he looked to be really having an enjoyable time observing things with his father.

He is a nice looking kid with a good prototype tight end frame. He looked a legit 6'7.

The "buzz" I picked up is that the Sooners and Crimson Tide are in a commanding position for him right now and that it will likely come down to those two schools.

An advantage for OU is the fact they have been able to produce some amazing specimens and have proven that they will give their TE's the chance to catch the ball in their offense.

We will try to follow up with Vogler when we can...

St. Louis Trinity Catholic wide receiver Marquise Hill was on an unofficial visit to see OU this afternoon.

As you all may know he is a 6-foot-0, 165-pound athlete that has a pile of offers and is currently listed as a commitment ti the Mizzou Tigers.

He is the cousin of Ronnie Wingo, who the Sooners recruited a year ago.

I have not yet been able to confirm if Hill has been offered by OU, but thought it was worth pointing out that he was on campus checking out the program.

We will keep our ear to the ground and try to see if anything develops...

None of the Dallas Skyline guys made it in for camp...

The Skyline staff has a number of guys up working the camp and coaching, but none of their prospects came in.

They did not think it was wise to let them go through a padded camp with a State Championship caliber team and the season coming up right around the corner. No sense in risking an injury...

LB Corey Nelson wanted to come up and observe, but his house was hit by lightning during the thunder storms on Wed/Thurs. and he had to help his family take care of that, so he did not make it in.

Nelson has said that he will be able to be at Texas on Sunday for camp.....
