Brey Cook, a 6-foot-7, 290-pound offensive lineman from Har-Ber High in Ark., got his first offer from Tulsa after a camp stop, and then he made his way over to Norman Okla., for a one-day stop at the Sooners elite level prospect camp.
He stole the show again while at OU and Sooners Illustrated even recognized him as the Underclassman MVP for his performance.
Well it looks like the OU coaching staff to a liking to the big man as well, as they have indicated that they will be offering him a scholarship to play his college ball for the Sooners.
"Brey received an offer from OU this morning," informed Har-Ber head coach Chris Wood via an email.
The offer is is of the verbal variety and can only be made official in writing after Sept. 1.
Cook is currently camping at Auburn and we will try to follow up with his thoughts on receiving an offer from the Sooners in the upcoming days.
