Focus 2011: "Mr. Do It All"

James Myles, 2011 RB out of Stephenville High School is a running back that just makes plays. SI.com was introduced to Myles while out at the 7v7 tournament in Lewisville. Myles almost single handedly helped his team qualify for the state tournament in College Station with all the unbelievable plays he made.

When SI.com was able to catch up with James Myles, a 6-foot-0, 210-pound running back from Stephenville High in Texas he showed what a team player he is.

"We did very well, I mean my teammates came out and executed the best they could and they gave it their all I love em' to death." Myles stated.

Myles seems to always put his team before himself.

"Benefit my team the best I can," stated Myles about his goals for next season.

Myles doesn't seem to be worried about the recruiting side of things at the moment but has attended a few camps.

"I've gone to a couple of camps here and there," Myles began. "I went to Mary Hardin-Simmons and I went to the Oklahoma camp."

While at the Oklahoma camp in early June, Myles was able to work with Oklahoma's running back coach Cale Gundy.

"He's a good man," Myles began. "He taught me a lot." Myles stated with a big smile.

Myles plays at Stephenville High school in Texas but has ties to the state of Oklahoma.

"I love the Sooners," began Myles. "I'm actually from Ardmore."

Myles is a do it all running back, whatever you need him to do he does it, just like the running back that inspired him the most growing up.

"The running back that inspired me the most was Walter Payton," stated Myles.
