At some point and time all streaks come to an end. Unfortunatley for the Oklahoma women's basketball team, their 15 game home win streak came to and end Wednesday night against No. 7 Texas Tech.
Plenette Pierson scored 18 points and Erin Grant added 16 as the Lady Raiders beat No. 23 Oklahoma, 80-71.
Texas Tech (14-1, 3-0) shot 48 percent (15-for-31) from the floor in the first half for an 11-point lead and held the Sooners to just 35 percent shooting in the second half.
Jia Perkins and Natalie Ritchie each netted 13 points for Texas Tech, which has won 14 straight games after opening the season with an 85-76 loss to Louisiana Tech.
Maria Villarroel scored 20 points and Theresa Schuknecht had 15 for Oklahoma (10-5, 1-1).
