In the Film Room: Oliver hits the hole hard

Programs like Oklahoma tend to keep quite a few good backs on the roster and usually the stable is not empty on the Sooner roster. In a quick look ahead, junior running back Jarrell Oliver from Dulles High School in Sugar Land, Texas got Scout.com his sophomore clips. Check him out.

During the spring, Sooners Illustrated ran an article on Sugar Land (TX) Dulles running back Jarrell Oliver and his connection to Oklahoma. His father, Jarrod, was on the 1986-87 team. So he is not unfamiliar with the Sooner program.

As he heads into his junior season, there is no doubt that recruiters will look to get in on the young Oliver's talent. The 5-foot-9, 185-pound Oliver ran for 578 yards on 79 carries in a reserve role in 2008.

Scout.com has his sophomore highlights. Watch him hit the hole with authority.
