Skyline High is home to a host of upper echelon football prospects. The best of the bunch may be junior linebacker Anthony Wallace, who started reeling in official offers on Sept. 1.
a 6-foot-2, 235-pound linebacker from Skyline High in Dallas, Texas
will be one of the most highly recruited players in the "Lone Star State" for the class of 2011.
As a matter of fact, official offers have already started rolling in.
"Hot off the fax," Skyline recruiting assistant R.J. Bond began. "Anthony Wallace offered by Tennessee and Miami, OU, and Baylor."
"Stay by the phone, more to come..."
Before long Coach Bond sent me another text to inform that Kansas and Texas A&M also stepped up to the plate with offers.
According to Scout.com Midland Recruiting Manager Baron Flenory Jr. Wallace will also certainly be a Top 100 prospect by the time the rankings for the '11 class are released.
"The kid is a beast," Flenory Jr. informed.
This weekend Wallace and his Dallas Skyline teammates will square off against Dallas Kimball.
