Caleb Back for A&M?

NORMAN, Okla. – Brandon Caleb went down on the first play of the Kansas State with an ankle injury and has nor been able to contribute since. Will he be back for Texas A&M?

Despite missing the past two contests Brandon Caleb is still the second leading receiver (408 yards) on the OU roster, so it's not secret that the Oklahoma coaching staff would like to see him return to action as soon as possible.

"I'd like to see him out there now," admitted OU Wide Receiver Coach Jay Norvell.

Caleb has been seen trotting off of the practice field and suited up for the Nebraska game, but he has still not been able to contribute.

"No, he's not heatlhy yet," Norvell said. "Brandon isn't responding like we hope he would. He has got an ankle and we would like to see him get back involved a little more."

"He'll be back out on the practice field this week and hopefully he will be a little bit better than he was last week."

All-in-all the receiver corps could just use a boost from a veteran.

Norvell said, "It's not easy to come in as a new player in to a no-huddle system when things are going 100 miles around you and understand the tempo and speed of that."
