OU Head Coach Jeff Capel

Capel on the game
"First of all (I give) a lot of credit to Louisiana-Monroe. They were very prepared for this game. They came out, I felt like early, that they tried to take the air out of the ball a little bit, which was a little bit surprising. I seen one tape on them from this year and watched several games from last year and they got up and down the floor and pressed a lot and we were kind of expecting that and it was almost kind of like they were running false motion early and they were about 15 seconds getting in to a play."

"We didn't come out with the energy we need to come out with, for what reason I don't know. It took us getting down and getting punched in the mouth for us to start punching back."

Guard Willie Warren

Warren on why it took the Sooners so long to get it going
"How we practiced the day before. You know, you practice how you play and we turned the ball over consistently the day before and it showed up in today's game."

Guard/Forward Tony Crocker

Crocker on his 13 point performance
"It's a confidence builder, you know, going in to the next game knowing what you can do. You know, it just helps out your confidence really and gets you going and that way you bring more energy and help out the team."

ULM Head Coach Orlando Early

Early on his team's performance
"First of all I am really proud of our guys performance tonight. You know, coming in here on the road against the 17th ranked team in the country is definitely a tall task and they are bigger stronger deeper, more physical and we were able to compete with them for most of the game."
