Humphrey Ready for OU Visit

Defensive tackle prospect Eric Humphrey will be one of the players taking an official visit to Oklahoma this weekend. What would he like to see?

Last weekend Eric Humphrey, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive tackle from Dallas Parish Episcopal (Texas) took his first official visit to TCU and he reportedly had a terrific time.

This weekend he has visit No. 2 on tap as he will be heading to Norman, Okla. to check out the Oklahoma Sooners.

"I just want to see if I connect with the team and the players," Humphrey began. "I just want to see if I am home there. I want to see if it feels comfortable."

Humphrey, who has garnered about 15 offers in the past month, would also like to check out schools like Texas Tech, Arkansas, and Baylor before reaching a final decision.

"Because of the fact that they considered me I still want to take all of my visits."

It seems like every school that has evaluated Humphrey's senior film has offered him a scholarship, so what does he bring to the table?

"I just have a high motor and I run to the ball always," Humphrey said of his talents. "I would say that I pattern my game after Dwight Freeney or DeMarcus Ware. Those are my two favorite players."

Scout.com will try to check in with Humphrey following his trip to OU for a reaction to the visit.
