Norman - The Oklahoma women's basketball team just seems to have Baylor's number.

Maria Villarroel scored 22 points and Chelsi Welch chipped in 18 as Oklahoma completed the series sweep of the Bears with a 78-64 win Wednesday night in Norman.

The Sooners, who improved to 15-8 overall and 6-4 in Big 12 play, jumped out to a 31-25 halftime lead and then hit 17 of their 33 attempts in the second half to break the game open.

"Once again most of our baskets came off assists and that's a reflection of good, solid offense," said Coale on what led to OU's hot second half. "Twenty-three assists is a season-high for us and that is why we were able to score 78 points."

Coale also said Oklahoma's 45-37 rebounding edge was the key to the game.

"I thought this game would be decided on the backboard and we out rebounded them. I think that was the difference in the game."

Sophomore guard Dionnah Jackson was OU's top rebounder with 11 while also dishing out nine assists.

"What Dionnah did tonight is a perfect example of how much you can effect what happens on the court even if you not scoring," said Coale. "Dionnah Jackson is probably the main reason we won this game."

"I thought our kids played hard," Coale continued. "I appreciate the effort and I'm proud of them."
