The year: 2005
The game: Bedlam; Nov. 26, 2005
The situation: 21-7 OU over OSU with 2:03 left in the third quarter
The play: Peterson busted through the line and escaped several would-be tacklers for an 84-yard touchdown run, good for a career-long. That made the score 28-7 at the time, and the Sooners went on to win their third straight Bedlam game, in large part because of Peterson's brilliant second half performance of 210 yards and two touchdowns. That 84-yarder was complemented by a 71-yard scamper later in the half, all part of a 237-yard day.
