RECRUITING: Dallas WR is a top priority

Dallas, Texas wide receiver Lendy Holmes talks recruiting and about his interest in Oklahoma

LENDY HOLMES, WR, 6'2, 187, 4.4, DALLAS (SOUTH OAK CLIFF HS), TEXAS:

Lendy Holmes is one of premeire wide receiver prospects in Texas and is ranked as a the fifth-best prospect in Lone Star State. Holmes is such a talented athlete that he has played quarterback, wide receiver, running back and free safety thus far South Oak Cliff. Last season he earned all-district honors as a receiver while being named as an all-district performer at quarterback.

Lendy can bench 225 and is a starter in hoops where his squad made it to the state tournament. Holmes still appears to be wide open in recruiting and admits that he likes a number of schools.

"I am trying to keep my options open," said Holmes. "Oklahoma is alright and they are one of the schools I am looking at. Texas is pretty tight and I am looking at all of them. Texas, OU, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State are the four schools who have offered me at this point and I can safely say that I like all four of those schools. Academics are going to be very important to me and I want to major in computer science."
