Ranking the Most Important on Defense: No. 14

No. 14:

Player: Joseph Ibiloye

Position: Backup strong safety

The rundown: He's a versatile guy that has worked both in the defensive back and linebacker positions, after he moved to to linebacker before the start of the 2009 season. Ibiloye was a consistent performer there, and he had 15 tackles as he played in all 13 of the Sooners' games a year ago.

Expectations for 2010: At 6-foot-3, he's the tallest defensive back on the latest depth chart, although he's listed as a linebacker on the roster. But that size gives him an advantage in the DB position over many shorter receivers in passing situations. He's a talent that could really strengthen this secondary in that regard.
