Brown lives about two hours from the Rebels and will be attending their junior day on April 16 as well as their spring game.
"I like the coaches and how they talk to their players," Brown said about the Ole Miss staff. "Coach Houston Nutt seems like a good coach and he's a very down-to-earth person. He's easy to talk to.
"I really like the facilities there too," he said about the Rebels.
Brown says he'll visit Ole Miss again later this summer for a camp. He also plans on participating at Alabama's camp. He already visited the Tide for their junior day.
"It was very interesting," he said about his experience at Alabama. "Everything there is top of the line. Alabama is just an impressive program. They get the best out of their players and they produce top athletes.
"Alabama gets the best and they produce the best," he added about the Tide.
He says he may visit Alabama again for a spring practice or spring game. "They invited me back and seem very interested," he said.
Brown is also considering the Tide's in-state rival, Auburn. "I love how they do things there," he said about the Tigers. "It's a championship program and I really like coach Gene Chizik and his whole attitude.
"Auburn has great fans too and it seems like a good organization overall," he said.
This Saturday, March 5, Brown plans on attending the Mississippi State Junior Day. "They are only 35 minutes away," he said. "Being close is good, but I don't need to be very close. It's not a big deal."
Another SEC school that Brown is interested in is Tennessee. "I like that they are rebuilding," he said. "I think I could go and play early there."
Growing up Brown followed Ohio State. "I love their tradition," he said about the Buckeyes. "They also have some of the best coaches. I'm a big fan of Jim Tressel. He's all about business."
He says the Buckeyes invited him to camp.
Brown says he won't rush into a decision. "I'd like to stick it out and take my time," he said. "I really want to make sure the school fits me and that their offense fits me.
"I want to go and play tight end and get ready for the next level," he said.
Brown had three receiving touchdowns as a junior.
"I can catch," he said. "I've got good hands and I'm a good blocker too. I run pretty good routes and I use mismatches well to get to the ball."
He says he can bench 235-pounds and has a 25-inch vertical jump.
"I want to improve my 40 speed (reports a 5.0)," he said. "And I want to get stronger and be more physical."
He reports a 3.5 core GPA and a 20 ACT.
