The Ole Miss pitchers were the story as the Blue team won 3-0 over the Red team at Swayze Field Friday night.

R.J. Hively and Brett Huber started for the Red team and Blue team respectively. Each went a scheduled 3 innings and struck out a combined 11 hitters and gave up only one hit. Left-handed junior college transfer junior Dylan Chavez was excellent in relief of Huber throwing 3 hitless innings.

The scoring began in the fourth when Blake Newalu was plated on an Andrew Mistone groundout to short. Mistone is a junior college transfer infielder from Rio Hondo in California, where former Rebel shortstop Kevin Mort played.

The Blue team struck again in the 8th when Mistone got the inning started with a double to the left field warning track. Hits by freshman Sikes Orvis and redshirt freshman Jimel Judon led to the Blue team scoring two in the frame.
