Law Has Rebs In Lead

Haines City (FL) athlete D.J. Law said he was "overwhelmed" by his official visit to Ole Miss over the weekend.

Dacorius Law, a multi-talented athlete from Haines City, FL, wasn't expecting what he saw on his visit to Ole Miss over the weekend.

In short, he said he was "overwhelmed."

"I got done everything I wanted to get done and saw everything I needed to see," said Law. "Everything impressed me - the people, the school, the town, everything.

"It was so beautiful in Oxford and all the people were great. I was overwhelmed with everything - the coaches, the facilities, it was really good."

So where does that leave the 5-11, 190-pounder?

"Ole Miss is in the lead. I'm not taking any more visits. It is between Utah and Ole Miss, but Ole Miss is definitely in the lead," Law noted.

Law said he will announce his choice on February 5th.

"I just need to talk with my Dad and tell him about the visit. Everyone is on board with the decision I make. I just need a little reflection time," he noted.

Law said he was told by the coaches that he could end up playing any skill position and he's good with that.

"They said I could play slot, running back, cornerback, safety, punt return, kickoff return - wherever they need me," he noted. "I'm down with any of that. I feel I'm versatile enough to do whatever the team needs and I'm willing to do that."

Law's official host was LB Keith Lewis, but he said he spent quality time with a lot of the Rebel players.

"I bonded with a lot of players. I made a point to do that. They were all great," he closed.
