Recruiting Competition: Christian took a detour on the way to Ole Miss. Out of high school, the highly-prized Memphian opted to "get away from home" and chose the bright lights of UCLA and the City of Angels to pursue his college football career. He soon learned the Bruins weren't a good fit and a member of his family developed health issues, prompting him to leave UCLA and look for a new home. He chose Ole Miss.

Quotable: "I feel like I can bring a spark to the group. I love to work hard, and I feel I can get them better in the running game because that's one of my biggest strengths. I can come in and give them some depth and a lot of character to the position. I like to have fun when I'm playing. I keep everyone loose and having fun. I'm just ready to be a part of their team and help them win an SEC championship. I love the way the Ole Miss fans support their team. That was one of the biggest reasons I chose Ole Miss. I love their fans. I'm just ready to be a part of their family, and I'm going to work my butt off to make them proud. Hotty Toddy!"

Scouting Report: The first thing you notice about Morris is his attitude and aggressiveness on the field. He really likes to get after it and to finish his blocks. He is a good run blocker and he comes out of his stance ready to punish the defensive lineman. He chops his feet well, he blocks with good balance, and he is a finisher. He still needs some development physically and in pass protection. He has good length and a good frame. – Chad Simmons

Coach Hugh Freeze Quote: "We wanted Christian all along. We felt, and so did the recruiting services and analysts, that he was one of the top tackle prospects in the country coming out of high school. We're sorry things didn't work out for him at UCLA, but we are glad to have him here. He's big, strong, aggressive and athletic. We believe he brings a lot to the table for our offensive line."
